Kaohsiung, Taiwan — Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital (KMUH) has become the first medical institution in Taiwan to deploy NVIDIA B300 GPU servers, strengthening its AI-driven smart healthcare and digital transformation initiatives.

KMUH is widely recognized for its leadership in digital health. In 2025, the hospital received multiple National Healthcare Quality Awards (NHQA), achieved HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7—the highest level of electronic medical record adoption—and was named among Newsweek and Statista’s “World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2026.”

Building on its earlier adoption of NVIDIA H200 GPUs, KMUH has committed nearly NT$60 million to deploy the advanced NVIDIA B300 GPU platform, enabling accelerated development and scaling of clinical AI applications. The infrastructure project, architected by Chunghwa System Integration (CSI), leverages Supermicro's liquid-cooled server systems equipped with NVIDIA HGX B300 GPUs—engineered to support demanding AI workloads including large language models (LLMs), high-performance computing (HPC), and multimodal analytics.

To maximize GPU resource efficiency and operational governance, KMUH has integrated INFINITIX's AI-Stack as its foundational AI infrastructure management layer. This Kubernetes-native enterprise solution delivers centralized GPU scheduling, workload orchestration, and real-time resource visibility—critical capabilities for stable deployment of large language models and vision-language models across both clinical operations and research initiatives.

According to INFINITIX, as generative AI transitions from proof-of-concept to production-grade clinical deployment, healthcare organizations face mounting challenges in AI resource governance and scalability. AI-Stack addresses this imperative by providing a standardized, enterprise-ready platform that enables medical teams to accelerate AI innovation while maintaining operational integrity and clinical validation standards.

KMUH's strategic roadmap centers on leveraging the NVIDIA B300 platform and AI-Stack architecture to advance generative AI applications, precision medicine initiatives, and multimodal clinical analytics. This infrastructure foundation reinforces the hospital's vision of delivering patient-centric, sustainable smart healthcare at scale.
